CAG office to recruit 347 people, applications close on 25 November

A total of 347 people will be recruited to the Office of the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) and various offices under it. Two separate recruitment notices have been published for posts in four categories.

Male and female candidates can apply for these 16th-grade and 20th-grade posts according to their qualifications. Interested candidates must apply online. The application deadline is 25 November 2026.

According to the recruitment notices, 70 people will be recruited as junior auditors, 62 as computer typists, six as drivers and 209 as office assistants.

The junior auditor, computer typist and driver posts are in the 16th grade, with a pay scale of Tk 9,300 to Tk 22,490. The office assistant post is in the 20th grade, with a pay scale of Tk 8,250 to Tk 20,010.

To apply for junior auditor, candidates must have passed HSC or an equivalent examination with at least a second division or equivalent GPA from a recognised education board. They must have a computer typing speed of at least 20 words per minute in both Bangla and English and must also pass the standard aptitude test in the relevant subject.

For computer typist, candidates must also have passed HSC or an equivalent examination with at least a second division or equivalent GPA. They must be skilled in operating a computer and be able to type 30 words per minute in English and 25 in Bangla. They must also pass the standard aptitude test.

For the driver post, candidates must have passed JSC or an equivalent examination from a recognised education board. They must also hold a valid licence to drive light or heavy vehicles and have at least three years of practical experience in the relevant work.

To apply for office assistant, candidates must have passed SSC or an equivalent examination from a recognised education board.

Interested candidates must apply online by filling in the application form on the CAG office's recruitment-related Teletalk website. Details can also be found on Teletalk's job portal or by scanning the QR code given in the recruitment notice. Applications will not be accepted through any medium other than online.
