117 Runs in First Session, Yet Four Wickets Lost Leave Bangladesh in Trouble; Hridoy’s Century Holds One End

Bangladesh are in trouble with the bat on the third day of the Sylhet Test. In the first session, the hosts scored 117 runs in 29 overs but lost four wickets, leaving them in a difficult position.
Before the lunch break, Bangladesh’s position in the first innings looked fragile. Although the runs came, the steady fall of wickets put the team in trouble.
Amid the collapse, Towhid Hridoy has held one end. In the procession of falling wickets, he brought up his maiden Test century and is carrying the team on his own.
Apart from Hridoy’s fighting century, there was little comfort for Bangladesh in the first session. Losing four wickets has left the team under deep pressure.
