No rain expected in Dhaka today, temperature likely to stay unchanged

There is no chance of rain in Dhaka today. The Bangladesh Meteorological Department has said the sky may remain partly cloudy.

The information was given in the weather forecast for Dhaka and adjoining areas for the six hours from 7am on Sunday (November 8).

The Storm Warning Centre of the Meteorological Department said daytime temperatures are likely to remain generally unchanged during this period.

Winds may blow from the west or north-west at a speed of 5 to 10 kilometres per hour, the forecast said.

Dhaka's temperature was recorded at 23.8 degrees Celsius in the morning. Today's lowest temperature was 23.5 degrees Celsius.

Yesterday, Dhaka's highest temperature was 32.4 degrees Celsius.

Humidity in the air was 80 percent at 6am. No rainfall was recorded in Dhaka or nearby areas in the last 24 hours.

The sun will set in Dhaka at 5:15pm today, and the sun will rise at 6:09am tomorrow, Monday.
