No one died of confirmed measles in the last 24 hours. However, from March 15 to November 8, 105 people have died of confirmed measles.

The control room of the Directorate General of Health Services is issuing a daily press release on the measles situation, reporting the numbers of symptomatic and confirmed patients separately.

Among those with measles symptoms, the number whose measles was confirmed by testing is lower than the total number of symptomatic patients. But the numbers of hospital admissions and deaths remain a cause for concern.

The health directorate has been urging people to seek a doctor's advice quickly if measles symptoms appear. Emphasis is also being placed on vaccinating children and raising awareness.
