Police and the fire service have rescued a 22-year-old woman who was attempting suicide after locking herself inside a room in Mohammadnagar, under Bayezid police station in Chattogram city. Acting on a call from a neighbour to the national emergency service 999, rescuers rushed to the scene and broke down the door to save her.

The incident took place on Saturday night (7 November) in Mohammadnagar, Bayezid.
