Tashrif's Mother Speaks in Video: Son Paid Father Tk 20,000-30,000 a Month, Accuses Husband of Multiple Marriages

The mother of Islamic speaker Qari Jubayer Ahmad Tashrif, who is in discussion over allegations that he does not support or check on his sick father, has spoken about her son. She denied the allegations her husband made against their son.
She made the remarks in a video published on Tashrif's verified Facebook page at around 11am on Tuesday (27 October). Tashrif's mother's name could not be known.
In the video she said the allegation that Tashrif does not support his father or does not check on him is completely false.
She claimed Tashrif used to give his father Maulana Md Hedayetullah Tk 20,000 to 30,000 every month. She said the payments have been stopped for the last two to three months because of a recent quarrel between father and son.
Tashrif's mother alleged that her husband, influenced by others, created distance with their son. According to her, comments by various people about the son's success and social standing increased the dispute between father and son further.
She also spoke in the video about her husband's marriages. She claimed that while she was in the household, her husband married seven more times. She said she later learned that Maulana Hedayetullah had married 17 to 18 times in total.
The allegations made in the video could not be independently verified. No comment was obtained from Tashrif's father Maulana Md Hedayetullah on the matter.
