All students fail at 19 institutions under Mymensingh board, five record 100 percent pass

Not a single student passed at 19 educational institutions under the Mymensingh Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education in the 2026 HSC examinations. Of the 315 institutions that took part this year, these 19 recorded a zero result.
The board's pass rate this year is 51.44 percent.
By contrast, students at five institutions recorded a 100 percent pass rate.
The education board has said it will take action against the institutions where every student failed.
Speaking at a press conference held on Saturday morning (31 October) for the publication of the results, the board's controller of examinations, Professor Shahadat Ullah, said comparatively more students failed in English and Accounting, and that this had an impact on the overall result.
He added that the board is considering taking necessary measures regarding the institutions where all students failed.
