First song 'Tu Mil Jaye' from Shah Rukh Khan's 'King' released on his 61st birthday

The first song from Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan's upcoming film 'King' has been released to mark his 61st birthday. In the romantic song, titled 'Tu Mil Jaye', Deepika Padukone appears on screen alongside Shah Rukh.
The song was composed by Sachin-Jigar. It was sung by British musician Ed Sheeran and Indian singer Arijit Singh. Listeners on social media have been praising the joint performance by the two artists, according to the report.
After the song's release, excitement was seen among fans on social media. The chemistry between Shah Rukh and Deepika in the song reminded many viewers of their earlier film 'Om Shanti Om'. Shah Rukh's physical appearance in the song has also been a topic of discussion among fans.
At the start of the song there is a line of dialogue by Shah Rukh — 'Main qatil nahi, aashiq hoon', meaning 'I am not a killer, I am a lover'. The line is linked to the song's romantic mood.
Technology company Google arranged a special display for the birthday. A special installation promoting the film 'King' was shown on the Bandra-Worli Sea Link in Mumbai. Shah Rukh went out by car late at night to see the display.
Later, posting a photo of the display on social media platform X, he thanked Google Gemini. Joking, Shah Rukh wrote, 'Dost ho to Google Gemini jaisa' — meaning a friend should be like Google Gemini.
Directed by Siddharth Anand, 'King' is scheduled for theatrical release on 24 December. Alongside Shah Rukh and Deepika, the film also stars Abhishek Bachchan, Rani Mukerji and Suhana Khan, among others.
