PSC Recommends Five Candidates for Chief Instructor Posts at Polytechnic Institutes

Staff Reporter

The Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC) has published the results of the teacher recruitment examination for various polytechnic institutes. A total of five candidates have been provisionally recommended for appointment to chief instructor posts in three categories.

The results were published on Monday (2 November) in a notice signed by the PSC's controller of examinations (non-cadre), Md Abdur Rahman. The appointments are for polytechnic institutes under the Technical and Madrasa Education Division of the Ministry of Education.

According to the published results, two candidates have been nominated for chief instructor (tech/civil), two for chief instructor (tech/entrepreneurship) and one for chief instructor (tech/food). All three posts are in the sixth grade.

The candidates nominated for chief instructor (tech/civil) hold registration numbers 300067 and 000044. Those for chief instructor (tech/entrepreneurship) hold numbers 400079 and 000035, while one candidate with number 000035 has been recommended for chief instructor (tech/food).

The commission provisionally nominated the candidates on the basis of the relevant recruitment examination results, following the prevailing rules and regulations.

However, the PSC said the nominations are not final but provisional. Before appointment, the nominated candidates' educational qualifications, experience, certificates and information given in their application forms will be verified. If any discrepancy is found in any information or certificate, the nomination of the candidate concerned may be cancelled.

In addition, the candidates will undergo a health examination and verification of their antecedents through the appropriate authority. After these processes, the appointing authority will take the final appointment decision. If a serious discrepancy is found in a candidate's qualifications or information, the commission may cancel the nomination and also take necessary legal action.

The commission has also reserved the power to correct any significant error found in the published results. The recruitment results and detailed information are available on the PSC website, the notice said.
