Traffic case fines can now be paid instantly through the bKash app

Traffic fines can now be paid instantly from the bKash app in just a few taps. Through this newly launched service, an initiative of Community Bank and bKash, customers can pay fines for all types of Bangladesh Police traffic cases.

Besides the app, traffic fines can also be paid at more than 350,000 bKash agent points across the country. As a result, customers can pay fines from anywhere in the country, at any time.

The two institutions launched the facility so that cases filed for violating traffic laws on the road can be settled immediately. After receiving a traffic fine slip, customers can pay the fine through the bKash app at any time and from any place. By showing the payment receipt right away, it is possible to quickly retrieve seized documents from the concerned officer.

The process of paying a fine in the bKash app is simple. From the app’s home screen, users go to the ‘Pay Bill’ icon and select the service from the ‘Government Fee’ option, or search for ‘Traffic Fine’ in the search bar.

After that, entering the specific case number on the traffic case slip automatically shows the fine amount on screen. After verifying all the information, the customer confirms with their PIN number and the fine is paid instantly.

Once the payment is completed, an SMS and an in-app notification reach the customer’s mobile. A prescribed fee will apply in this case. After payment, the digital receipt can be downloaded to quickly retrieve seized documents.

To use the service at an agent point, the customer has to share the case ID and mobile number with the agent. Once the fine is paid, the customer receives the digital receipt from the agent.
