After Poor Results, Loudspeaker Campaign in Pirojpur's Bhandaria to Bring Students Back to Their Books
After disappointing HSC and Alim 2026 examination results in Bhandaria upazila of Pirojpur, the upazila administration has launched an awareness campaign to make students attentive to their studies. Officials say the aim of the campaign is to restore the environment for education.
On Tuesday (November 3), on the administration's initiative, awareness instructions were announced by loudspeaker mounted on autorickshaws in the municipal town and in various other areas of the upazila.
The announcements said that, under instructions from the district administration, no student will be allowed to roam outside home after Maghrib without necessity.
It was also announced that the use of mobile phones by students must be kept stopped in all educational institutions, and that bidi and cigarettes must not be sold to anyone under the age of 18.
Students were asked to refrain from sitting and chatting in shops during school hours. At the same time, guardians were specially requested to keep children away from ditches, ponds, canals and rivers.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md. Hasibul Hasan said the awareness campaign was carried out to bring students back to regular study, ensure a proper environment for education and improve the quality of examination results.
He specially requested students, guardians, teachers, traders and people from all walks of life to follow the instructions.
