West Indies All Out for 356 in Sylhet Test as Hasan Mahmud Takes Six, Jangoo Hits 133

The West Indies have been bowled out for 356 in their first innings of the Sylhet Test. Hasan Mahmud, who bowled brilliantly with the new ball on the morning of the second day, took six wickets, while Mehidy Hasan Miraz claimed two.
After an early setback, the West Indies had recovered through the batting of Amir Jangoo and Kevin Wickham. Jangoo and the debutant Wickham rescued the side that had lost three wickets for 27 runs at the start of the first day.
A 131-run fourth-wicket partnership between Jangoo and Wickham brought the West Indies back into the match. Jangoo scored 133 and Wickham made 61. Later, Justin Greaves' innings of 51 also played a role in taking the West Indies to a big total.
On the morning of the second day, Hasan Mahmud struck twice with the new ball. By dismissing Jangoo and captain Roston Chase off consecutive balls, he also created a hat-trick opportunity.
Hasan then dismissed Joshua Bishop to complete the fifth five-wicket haul of his career. In the end, the pacer picked up his sixth wicket by shattering Shamar Joseph's stumps.
For Hasan, who has taken five wickets in an innings for the fifth time in his Test career, this is his first five-wicket haul on home soil. After Nathan Lyon, he is the second bowler to have taken his first five five-wicket hauls in five different countries.
Meanwhile, Miraz got a wicket by dismissing Greaves. Late on, he broke the 33-run partnership between Jomel Warrican and Jayden Seales, which ended the West Indies' first innings at 356.
