Genesis Pre-School opens new Chandima Model Campus in Mohammadpur

Genesis Pre-School has opened a new branch, the 'Chandima Model Campus', in Chandima Model Town, Mohammadpur in the capital, with a commitment to ensuring joyful and quality early education for children. The new campus was formally inaugurated on Saturday at 10am with a cake-cutting ceremony and a colourful programme. The institution's owners, teachers, students, guardians and local dignitaries were present at the event.

At the inaugural ceremony, the institution said the new campus was opened to ensure children's mental development, greater creativity and opportunities to learn in a joyful environment. The institution had earlier been running its education activities through its Mohammadia Housing campus, and the Chandima Model Campus has been launched in continuation of that.

Senior officials of the institution said, 'We are giving importance to creating an environment where children can learn through joy instead of fear. Not only textbook education, the mental, physical and creative development of children will also be important in our education activities. Ensuring individual care for every child is our goal.'

The new campus offers study from play-group to class five in both Bangla and English versions. There will be two trained and experienced teachers for every 12 children. The campus has air-conditioned classrooms, security through CCTV cameras and an indoor play zone for children.

Beyond the regular curriculum, arrangements have been made for drawing, crafting, Arabic education and various co-curricular activities to increase children's creativity and skills.

A guardian who attended the event said, 'When choosing a school for small children, we give the most importance to safety, the care of teachers and the learning environment. I liked the facilities of the new campus. Especially, if there are multiple teachers for a small number of students, I hope it will be possible to give individual attention to children.'

Another guardian said, 'Alongside children's studies, opportunities for sports and creative work are needed. I was pleased to learn that such activities have been arranged here along with studies. But in the end, the quality of education and the care of teachers for children will build an institution's acceptability.'
