No student passed the HSC from six Khulna colleges, with 16 such institutions under the Jashore board

Not a single student passed this year's HSC examination from six colleges in Khulna. Under the Jashore Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, no candidate passed from a total of 16 institutions in the 2026 HSC examination, six of them in Khulna.
Analysis of the results published by the Jashore board named Khulna's institutions with a hundred percent failure rate. They are Model Mohila College, Independent Ideal College, Kapilmuni Sahachari Bidya Mandir, Koyra Shakbaria School and College, Comrade Ratan Sen Collegiate Girls College and Khulna Newsprint Mills School and College.
One of them, Kapilmuni Sahachari Bidya Mandir College in Paikgacha, Khulna, showed the same picture the previous year as well. From that institution, five candidates sat the examination in 2025 and none of them passed.
On the matter, Jashore board secretary Professor Dr Abdul Matin said the heads of institutions with a hundred percent failure rate in 2025 had been served show-cause notices. Their statements had also been heard.
Professor Abdul Matin said necessary measures would be taken after analysing the reasons.
He added that the heads of this year's hundred-percent-failure institutions would also be served show-cause notices.
The board secretary said that, if necessary, renewal of affiliation for these institutions could be stopped.
