A discussion meeting organised by the JASAD central executive committee was held at 3pm at the Colonel Taher Auditorium of the party's central office.
The meeting was chaired by party vice-president Mir Hossain Akhtar and conducted by joint general secretary Obaidur Rahman Chunnu.

The speakers greeted JASAD's leaders and activists, saying they had kept the party's ideals and flag high without falling into any political confusion and without calculating personal gain or loss.
The meeting demanded the unconditional release of JASAD president Hasanul Haq Inu, describing him as convicted through a dictated verdict in a farcical trial in a false case.
