HSC Result Re-scrutiny Applications Close Today

Staff Reporter

Applications for the re-scrutiny and re-evaluation of results (challenging answer scripts) for the 2026 HSC and equivalent examinations close today, Saturday (7 November 2026). Students dissatisfied with the published results can apply for a script challenge through the prescribed procedure until today.

In the HSC and equivalent results published on 31 October 2026, nearly six lakh students failed. Many students did not get the results they had expected. The Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee has given them the opportunity to have their results re-scrutinised.

The application process began last Sunday (1 November 2026). Applications must be made online. No manual application will be accepted.

To apply for a re-scrutiny, students must go to the designated website and apply online. After entering the website, they must fill in their roll number and registration number in the specified fields.

They must then select their board from the dropdown list and click the 'Submit' button. After that, they must provide their mobile number.

When the re-scrutiny result is published, an SMS will be sent to that mobile number. It is therefore important to provide the correct mobile number while applying.

On the next screen, the student's subject-wise results will be shown. To apply for the re-scrutiny of one or more subjects, they must select the relevant subjects and click the 'Pay Fee' button.

A fee of 150 taka must be paid for each paper. For a subject with two papers, applications must be made for both papers. The amount payable will be shown in the next step.

The fee can be paid through bKash, Nagad, DBBL Rocket, Upay and Sonali Seba. The detailed steps for payment can be seen by clicking the 'Pay' button on the relevant portal.

After paying the fee, students must enter the application portal and click the 'Submit' button. Once an application has been submitted after paying the fee, if they wish to add more subjects, they can apply again in the same way. In that case, there is no need to provide a mobile number again.

If an application needs to be changed or modified before the fee is paid, the selected subjects for which the fee has not yet been paid can be withdrawn by clicking the 'Delete' button, and new subjects can be selected.

However, once the fee has been deposited, the subjects applied for can no longer be cancelled. In that case, the fee will not be refunded under any circumstances. Students have therefore been advised to check their subject selection carefully before submitting an application.
